As a school, we feel that it is important that the children come to school ready to learn and wearing the correct school uniform helps them to do this. The school wishes to promote a sense of pride and belonging in our children and believes that the wearing of a school uniform is one of the ways in which this can be achieved. The uniform is simple and practical, suited to the demands of a primary school education.

Daily Uniform

• Black or Grey Trousers or shorts
• Black or Grey Skirt
• White or Blue Polo Shirt (with or without school Logo)
• Royal blue jumper or cardigan (with or without the school logo)
• Black or Grey tights in cold weather
• Blue gingham dress in summer (optional)
• Black shoes (leather) or Black Trainers

PE Kit

• Plain Black or Blue Shorts Joggers or leggings
• Team Netherton T-Shirts
• Team Netherton Hoodie
• Black or White Gym Shoes or Trainers
• Option to wear a white or blue top, school jumper, cardigan or fleece
• No earrings to be worn
• Trainers must be worn for PE
• Hair to be tied up
• Due to Health and Safety earrings should be removed at home on the day of PE lessons; if a child is wearing earrings and are unable to remove them themselves plasters need to be provided to be worn over them.

Please Note:

• Shoes with wedge soles or high heels are not suitable for school wear.
• Only a watch can be worn, no other jewellery to be worn for school.
• No make-up including nail varnish to be worn to school.
